Nadar Mahajana Sangam S. Vellaichamy Nadar College, established in 1965 by the Nadar Mahajana Sangam with the generous support of philanthropists, stands as a beacon of quality education in Madurai. The college proudly bears the name of Kodaivallal, Kalvithanthai Thiru. S. Vellaichamy Nadar of Virudhunagar, whose vision and generous contributions made this institution a reality.
At present, the college offers 10 Aided UG, 4 Aided PG, 17 Self-Financed UG, and 8 Self-Financed PG programs, providing diverse opportunities to learners from all walks of life.
